Back to School Essentials Check List

The summer holidays may of just started but many of us will already be thinking about Back to School.  Most of the shops will have the Back to School posters up with uniform strategically placed at  stores entrances.

We always go away the last few weeks of August and I like to have everything done before we go so as soon as the holidays start I start to pick bits up for my 3 and I use this checklist and mark off what I have brought.  I find this way I don’t forget anything.

The worst thing you can do is head into town a week before they go back as most stuff will be gone, limited sizes will be left for school uniform so get out there early and be prepared. If stores don’t have your sizes they will have plenty of time to order for you or for you to go home and order online.

I have designed a back to school check list that you can download here Back To School Check List

I have also put together a few ideas for those back to school essentials

Quick recap from today’s This Morning – which was all about keeping your bed clean, fresh, and dreamy! 🛏✨✅ Use mattress and pillow protectors🔁 Rotate or flip your mattress every 6 months💨 A steam cleaner is brilliant for refreshing pillows and mattresses🦠 Try a UV mattress vacuum for a deep clean🚫 Skip the toothpaste—hydrogen peroxide is best for mattress stains!🌬 Always air your bed before making it to avoid trapping moisture and smells☀️ Let the sunshine in! Open a window and let the sun naturally freshen your bed🌿 Make a DIY fabric refresher spray using water/vodka and essential oils🧂 Or use a shaker with bicarb and essential oil, leave for 15 mins, then vacuum🛏 If your duvet doesn’t fit in the washing machine, air it outside📦 Avoid storing too much under the bed—it creates heavy dust🧳 And never place your suitcase on the bed after a trip (hello, potential bed bugs!)💧 If your windows don’t open, consider using a dehumidifierGot a question? Drop it in the comments—happy to help you sleep clean and sound! 😴✨ ... See MoreSee Less
