Home hacks for Hair Spray

I have recently started showing you on my Instagram page how amazing Hair Spray can be within your home.  Who would of thought that hair spray has so many amazing uses. From making your fresh flowers last longer to your beauty regime.  Even if you don’t use hairspray for your hair go out and grab some and keep in your cleaning cupboard.

My hair spray tricks – Tried and tested by me

Annoying sticky label that won’t come off and has left marks on the bottom of your shoe then hair spray works great at removing sticky residue and stickers.

Annoying ink marks on fabrics and leather can be removed with a good spray of hair Spray. Leave for at least 45 minutes so the spray can get to work.  Then wipe as normal.

I love having fresh flowers in the house they always lift the mood.  To help them last a little longer when you see them start to wilt gently spray a little spray on the underside of the petals and leaves.

With Christmas fast approaching and many of us opting for a real tree or wreath for the  front door hair spray can also help.  A quick spray with hair spray will help to trap the moisture into the needles.  Getting Christmas ready requires planning read my christmas ready guest guide.

If you have pet hair in your home spray a cloth with hair spray then simply run this over the area where you have pet hair and it will easily lift.

With hair spray you can also help keep your children’s chalk drawing in tact with a quick spray over the top to hold the chalk in place.

Spray onto polished leather shoes to help them stay shinny for longer.

If you wear tights spray the toes with hair spray to strengthen the threads and make them last longer and stop your toes from pocking through.

Spray freshly painted nails with hair spray to help them dry quicker.

Apply hair spray to the lipstick stain and let it sit for a few minutes, wipe away with a damp cloth and then wash as normal.
